The 3rd Fishermen's Congress was held at the Baku Water Sports Palace on December 6, 2024.
In keeping with tradition, a memorandum of cooperation and friendship was signed at the Congress between the "BAKI Fishermen and Underwater Hunters Club" Public Union and the OSKOBDER Fisherman's Club from the city of Osmaniye, Turkey. According to the memorandum, the two clubs discussed fish breeding in water bodies, aquaculture development, combating poaching, development of sports in the fishing sector and other important issues, and it was agreed to cooperate and share experience in this direction in the future. In addition, reports were made on the development of tourism fishing in Azerbaijan and topics related to the development of this sector in Azerbaijan in the future were discussed.
