On April 26-27, 2025, the III Odlar Yurdu International Surfcasting Tournament was held in Azerbaijan under the organization of the "BAKI Fishermen and Underwater Hunters Club" Public Union. In addition to local athletes, 4 athletes from the KSC Club from Kocaeli, Turkey, 10 athletes from the OSKOBDER Club from Osmaniye, 10 athletes from the AKOBDER Club from Mersin, 2 athletes from the HIPPOCAMPUS Club from Italy, 4 athletes from the WLADEK Club from Poland, and 2 athletes from the AKADEMİA FA Club from Greece participated in the tournament. In total, 70 athletes competed in the tournament. As a result, Najaf Gurbanov and Farman Abdulov from the BBK Club took 1st place in the General Tournament classification, free fishermen Ceyhun Idrisov and Emin Bagirov took 2nd place, and Kürşad Yılmaz and Umut Süzen from the KSC Club of Turkey took 3rd place. Among foreign countries, Turkey won 1st place, Greece 2nd place, and Poland 3rd place. Among women, the winner of 1st place was Eirini Vgenopoulou from Greece, the winner of 2nd place was Berrin Bali from Turkey, and the winner of 3rd place was Joanna Komkowski from Poland.
