The Osmaniye International Surfcasting Tournament, organized by the OSCOBDER Club on February 01-02, 2025, was held on the shores of Burnaz Beach, Hatay. A total of 140 athletes from 6 countries (Turkiye, Azerbaijan, Greece, Poland, Republic of Northern Cyprus, Cyprus) competed in the tournament, and Azerbaijan participated in the tournament with 10 athletes (Azer Aliyev, Chingiz Ganiyev, Mehdi Mehdiyev, Aydin Bayramov, Fuad Nuruzadeh, Elbrus Asadullayev, Habib Naibov, Najaf Gurbanov, Ilgar Aliyev). After 13 hours of competition, Azerbaijan won the First Place among foreign countries in that tournament. The team consisting of Chingiz Ganiyev and Mehdi Mehdiyev also became the Sector First.
